Welcome back! Things are trending up right now for WMU athletes. We've seen some recent success for our young men. We are four weeks into our program and we are seeing some great results. People on social media and places always talk about "the grind". Everyone grinds. Everyone that wants to be a player grinds. Coaches grind, players grind. Grinding doesn't make you a better player or coach. Being intentional and disciplined in your training is what is going to take us to the next level. We have some guys that are figuring out what it takes to improve. When we do our finishers we have guys that don't do them, do them without max effort, and guys that sell out. It depends on the young man and what he wants out of training. If we want to get where we need to be we have to be willing to be uncomfortable in our training. We have to make sure that we are doing what is necessary, when it is necessary, for as long as necessary. We have to do the work that is required everyday to push ourselves to a new level. There are no limits to what we can accomplish. The only limits we have are the ones that we put on ourselves.
Get after it today and everyday. Be disciplined. For those before us, those of us now, and those that follow, WE ARE WMU!

Our new district came out for 8 man! We are 8 man District #4. We are the one district in the state with 9 teams. That means that we will have 8 district games and one non-district games. Our travel looks to be pretty comparable or less than last year. I am excited about this district as there are some familiar faces in it as well as some teams we haven't played in a few years. Here it is:
