Today we will be spotlighting three of our young men.
Max Huston:
Max has been on the football team for four years. He has done a nice job of improving from his first three years to become a very fundamental offensive and defensive lineman. His favorite memory of his football career is our comeback victory against Lone Tree this year. I have to agree with him that it was a great team effort. He plans on playing basketball and baseball this year to finish out his senior campaign. He plans to attend UNI next year but is undecided on his major.
Aaron Snowden:
Aaron has been on the football team for two years. Aaron is one of the athletes that have dedicated himself to the weight room and improved himself physically. Aaron's favorite football memories are the great food we get on Thursday nights for team meals. Those have been some delicious suppers every week. He is planning on making memories and graduating to finish out his senior year. Aaron wants to attend college next year but hasn't decided where yet.
Matthew Niebuhr:
Matthew has been on the WMU high school football team for four years. He has improved physically through the weight room and hard work in other sports. His favorite memory from his career so far was scoring a touchdown on a fumble recovery against New London this year. He scooped up the ball and fell into the endzone with only :22 seconds into the game. For the rest of this year he is looking forward to playing baseball and graduating. He hopes not to fail Mr. McCarty's Spanish class. I hope so too. After graduation Matthew would like to attend a college where he is able to play baseball.
Thank you to the seniors on this write up, the previous write ups, and the future write ups. You guys have been great.
For those before us, those of us now, and those that follow, WE ARE WMU!
