New McCarty Motivations. This week we dive into a quote from Brian Kight. "Stop creating problems that don't exist". This is an interesting line because sometimes we paralyze ourselves with fear about "what if?". Sometimes athletes are so worried about what could happen that they don't perform because they aren't in the moment and taking care of business at that moment. Enjoy!

Week of 11/4-11/8
For the next weeks until Christmas Break I will be sharing short reading about motivation, discipline, and mindset. Please read them, these are ideas I've taken from books I've read, podcasts I've listened to, and other media I've consumed in order to form opinions and thoughts for our program and players. Many things I've read and listened to align with Brian Kight and Tim Kight. Those guys run Daily Discipline and Focus 3. I also have read Chop Wood, Carry Water and Pound the Stone by Joshua Medcalf. Those along with The Winning Mindset By Gene Zannetti. Thank you for taking the time to read these articles I've put together.
