A new McCarty Motivations has been added to the webpage today. Take a look at it here.
I also wanted to make note of the fact it is Thanksgiving week and on Thursday we will see hundreds of tweets and Facebook posts about how they are so blessed and thankful for family and other things. What is odd is that you won't read any of that before or after. Gratitude is best when it is practiced everyday. If you can't think of something you are grateful for everyday you aren't thinking hard enough. I've spent time keeping a gratitude journal. Everyday you write down two or three things that you are grateful for and it will help change your mindset about what is important in your life. I understand sometimes things don't go your way, bad days, multiple things go "against" you. But if you were to sit back and look at whatever happened, you'll see that it isn't so bad and that you are still grateful for something. I read an interesting line the other day. We have so many people that suffer from depression in our modern society. Many people think that the opposite of depression is happiness. That is incorrect, the opposite of depression is gratefulness. Hopefully everyone can find something they are grateful for this week and every week.
For those before us, those of us now and those that follow, WE ARE WMU!
Standards of Excellence:
