Today we will be highlighting two of our seniors. Zach Davis and Warren Krieger-Coble.
Warren Krieger-Coble:
Warren moved in as a sophomore to WMU. This is his third year as a member of the WMU program. Warren is a young man that has fallen in love with the weight room. The coaching staff always knew that there was potential with Warren and he finally saw it in himself. He has matured and grown into a leader this year and has been such a positive impact player for us. I am so proud of this guy and really hope he can find a place to play next year. His work ethic has improved so much that he has become a leader in the weight room and on field (practice and game). Warren's favorite memory of WMU football was making it to the playoffs last year. After this season Warren is going to stay active by playing basketball, and soccer while running track as well. He plans on going to college to play football but hasn't made the decision on where to go yet.
Zach Davis:
Zach has been a member of the football team for 3 years. It has been a fun three years with this young fella. If any of Wolves Nation knows Zach you know that he is an unusual guy. I have always enjoyed being around Zach. He is a goof but one of the most fierce competitors on the team. Once again he is a guy that has matured so much from years past to become a great young man. Zach is the team leader in interceptions this year and has made big plays on offense and special teams as well. His contributions have not only been on the stat sheets but also at practice. Zach's favorite football memory is defeating WACO to get into the playoffs last year. After this football season concludes Zach plans on staying active in sports and getting all A's in his classes as usual. (?) He plans to attend SCC for 2 years then transfer to Iowa State. Zach is one kid I can't wait to see how he continues to grow and mature. He has made incredible strides in the past year.
Like I've said, I appreciate not only these guys but the other seniors and underclassmen on this team. They make coaching enjoyable. If you have a senior son and he hasn't been spotlighted that means he hasn't turned in his information sheet back to me yet. I would love to spotlight all of these guys.
For those before us, those of us now, and those that follow, WE ARE WMU!
