Great Day 2! We are getting so much better as we continue to improve on day 2. We had a tough set of conditioning today. We ran a four station circuit and worked the boys hard. As we were telling the kids it is important to get into shape. That means it is one thing we don't have to worry about then during a game. You can worry about how you are going to whip the guy in front of you instead. We are putting new things in offensively and the boys have responded well. Today we had a little bit of a hiccup but we worked through it. One of the athletes had a question and didn't want to answer it. I asked him to communicate with me and we got things worked out. That is one of the pleasures of having a senior led team. They are old enough and "mature" enough to communicate with coaches without being shy or sheepish about it. We have an injury and a sickness already and and with three missing already our numbers are getting real thin. Like I said yesterday, talk to the neighbor boy or your own son and get him out. If your boy already plays and some of his friends don't, talk to that friend and get him out. We need him and it is an experience that they will love and never forget. That's it for today. Talk to you again tomorrow.
